Netflix has sent me a broken DVD in the mail.

Is this them telling me I need to go back to streaming?

What a way to kill the excitement of finally having time to watch a movie too. 

I had to make a tough decision today…

… regarding Netflix.

I don’t want to pay $16 a month. So I had a choice. Streaming for $9 or 1-DVD at a time for $9.

And I really really enjoy streaming. I like watching TV shows I might not have watched before. I liked watching TV shows I’ve already watched before.

But it was time to make a decision. So good bye streaming. (The selection has been mostly meh anyways.) DVD is a less instant plan but at least I know I can get what I want. 

My Netflix Summer

Dear Netflix, 

I love you. But I also hate you. Thanks for giving quite a summer.

I was especially glad to re-watch all of Mad Men. Season 4 was much easier to handle on the second viewing. I was able to relax and enjoy it, not all worried about what was going to happen next!!!! Also Meghan has grown on me. 

One quick question though Netflix. Why the fuck did you take The Big Lebowski off of Instant Watch? Not cool man, not cool.
