Cosmopolis beat Hunger Games. I don’t quite understand this MTV world but I’m starting to enjoy it more.
Maybe this will be a gateway into a bizarre new generation fanbase for DeLillo’s work. I doubt it. But the concept would make a good story. I should write it. Imagine any author with a good body of work but isn’t “famous” gets one of his/her novels made into a movie that casts a celebrity with a rabid fanbase. Then they just go wild over the authors whole body of work. It would get bizarre.
